Every Friday in the 2017 summer holidays 3.30pm-6pm
Our 'Family, Food & Fun Project' is a referral only service where families in need of support can come to the Centre once a week in the school holidays and receive a free 3 course meal whilst making links with support services and staff at Burnside Centre. Agencies working with families in need of support and community engagement are encouraged to contact the Centre for more information and complete the referral form and send it to us.

A Good Place to Start Counselling

This service will start back up early 2018.
Our 'A Good Place to Start' weekly group counselling sessions for adults is a free and confidential service to support people dealing with trauma, depression and mental well being. External agencies are encouraged to support their clients fill in the above referral form but we do also accept self referrals. We do have a waiting list currently but people are encouraged to register for the service as we also have links with other counselling providers. The main benefit of our service is that there is no limit on how many sessions a person can attend and people can attend for a good length of time to be able to work through issues on a deeper level.
